      CGCF APPLICATION PROCESS

      DISCOVERY

      We review financials, discuss operations, past transactions structuring and current transaction goals.

      AGREEMENT

      Together we come to a mutually beneficial agreement on transaction structuring and documentation.

      APPROVAL

      Transaction approval by portfolio group and final documentation commences for both parties.

      FUNDING

      CG Commercial Finance funds the Equipment Line of Credit and manages finance project documentation.

      FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

      Q: How are various terms and structure requirements addressed in our Line of Credit?

      A: As required, we set up Master Schedules to provide for different lengths of term (24, 36, 48, 60, 84 months), different residual amounts (lengthening or shortening amortization), and any other specific structuring requirements.

      Q: How do we fix rates on a draw down?

      A: Once the assets have been funded to the vendor or back to your company for existing assets (sale/leaseback), the rate is fixed for the term at draw down based upon a spread over swaps.

      Q: What type of equipment can we fund through our Line of Credit?

      A: We finance almost any type of equipment your business requires for its operations, including for example:

      • Transportation – Titled vehicles, aircraft, rail, marine.
      • Manufacturing and Processing Equipment – Food processing lines, packaging, CNC, printing presses, metal forming and stamping, extrusion, injection mold machines, waste processing, robotic, automated distribution systems, material handling, etc.
      • Heavy-Industrial Equipment – Yellow iron, cranes, mining equipment, oilfield production & services equipment, construction equipment, agriculture equipment, etc.
      • Technology Equipment – Computers, telecom, enterprise software, medical equipment, test and monitoring equipment, etc.
      • Clean Energy – Solar, wind, biomass/biofuels, cogen systems, etc.

      Q: What about financing “soft costs”? Can soft costs be included in our Line of Credit?

      A: In addition to financing 100% of the equipment cost, CG is also typically able to finance all or most of the soft costs included in equipment transactions. Such soft costs include but are not limited to installation (services, foundation, electrical, piping, etc.), freight, software, engineering & design, etc.

      Q: Do we need to qualify for each transaction as we draw down our Line of Credit?

      A: No need to credit qualify for each draw down once the Equipment Line of Credit is established.

      Q: Is there a minimum or maximum amount that we can finance under our Line of Credit?

      A: CG Commercial Finance has a minimum of $500,000 and can go up to $100,000,000 or more.

      Q: What about new verses used equipment?

      A: CGCF funds 100% of new equipment cost (+ soft costs) and typically funds used/existing equipment up to 100% of FMV.

      Q: How will our account be serviced and who will be our point of contact?

      A: We have dedicated project teams to provide effective management of all transaction processes, schedules and documentation. Project teams consist of Account Manager, Vice President, Documentation Manager, Vice President of Credit, and Finance Manager.
