      Leasing large volume of low valued assets and soft costs

      Only competing Lessor that could structure the transaction to include financing of the large volume of low-valued assets including painting, signage, audio/video equipment, I.T., shelving and flooring.

      Commercial Finance retail technology
      Equipment: I.T. Hardware/Software Security Systems and FF&E including racking, shelving warehousing and point-of-sale equipment
      Lessee: The Lessee is a 30 year old premier footwear retail chain with over 70 neighborhood-based stores located in California and Nevada.
      Transaction: $5,055,000 capital lease with multiple schedules and milestone payments.
      Highlights: The Lessee needed to CGCF process and fund multiple equipment vendors, many with milestone payments and 5-6 month installation periods. Significant soft costs such as racking, shelving warehousing and point-of-sale equipment were included in the transaction.

      The completion of this transaction illustrates CGCF’s broad funding capabilities; specifically the ability to fund a transaction with virtually no hard assets in a macro-economic climate unfavorable to the retail fashion industry. CGCF success in funding this first lease with the Lessee and in managing the matrix of schedules and vendors has established a relationship of trust and procured future business.
